Don’t bother measuring your insole you’ll never get it exactly right. Instead, check the measurements in cm or CHN on any of your sneakers. Use that info to find the corresponding US size in the size guide. For example, a 25 cm insole length corresponds to a US 7 in Vans. Keep in mind, sizes may vary slightly between brands due to different measuring methods.

When French tennis player René Lacoste was travelling with the Davis Cup team to Boston in the 1920s, he noticed a suitcase with a crocodile pattern. "If you win, I'll buy it for you," his coach told the future tennis number one and founder of a fashion empire. Neither of them knew at the time just how influential the young Lacoste would be on fashion and trends in the future. After the end of his career, in 1933, Lacoste officially founded the eponymous brand, which he imprinted with his long-standing alligator nickname. The fashion world would probably never have been the same place if Lacoste hadn't come up with a new cut of T-shirts back then.
