Hoka® Bondi 9
The brand HOKA was founded in 2009 in France with a clear goal: to provide runners with a significantly cushioned sole that makes running feel lighter. This idea is best embodied today by the women's running shoes Bondi 9, one of the softest models in the entire lineup. When you need to relieve your feet during a recovery run after a tough week or you're racking up miles in your daily training, you'll appreciate how the high foam carries you step by step, protecting your joints on hard asphalt.
The CMEVA foam midsole offers maximum cushioning with a height of 43 mm under the heel and 38 mm under the toe. A low drop of 4 mm and the MetaRocker geometry help you transition smoothly from impact to push-off, making each step feel natural even over longer distances. The Active Foot Frame construction cradles your foot deeper into the midsole for support, which is ideal for runners with a neutral gait. The upper made from breathable engineered mesh is crafted from recycled polyester, and reflective elements enhance your visibility when you head out in low light. The rubber outsole grips the road, and at a weight of 297 g, the shoe remains stable and comfortable. The beige colorway pairs well with leggings or sweatpants, so you can easily wear them outside of training.
Hoka® Bondi 9
Maximum damping and 600-800 km endurance - Hoka Bondi 9
The Hoka Bondi 9 is one of the most comfortable and cushioned road running shoes in the Hoka range. They are designed for runners who want a soft tread, stable feel and maximum comfort for long runs and everyday training. The ninth generation delivers an improved lighter midsole and an even smoother transition to rebound thanks to the signature Meta-Rocker geometry that promotes a smooth stride and reduces foot fatigue.
The model utilizes a new lightweight foam midsole that is even softer than the eighth generation, while also being more responsive on impact. The breathable mesh upper hugs the foot comfortably and securely, while the stabilized heel frame provides support with every step. The outsole with strategic zones of more durable rubber extends durability and offers a confident stride on asphalt, sidewalks and hard urban surfaces.
They work best on asphalt, sidewalks and hard surfaces where their maximum cushioning delivers a real benefit. With normal training use, you can expect a lifespan of around 600-800km, depending on the runner's running style and weight. If you're looking for a shoe that will provide maximum comfort, stability and reliability for long runs and everyday wear, the Hoka Bondi 9 is the obvious choice.
