Y-3 Tokyo Warped
The brand Y-3 has been merging adidas' sports heritage with the avant-garde vision of Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto for over twenty years, and the men's sneakers Y-3 Tokyo Warped showcase this in its purest form. The all-black design without contrasting details allows the silhouette to speak for itself, giving you a shoe that feels understated yet has a strong character. You’ll wear them when you want your outfit to stand out through form, not color.
The upper is made of smooth leather, which gives the shoe a refined look and comfortably adapts to the shape of your foot over time. The low profile keeps the line sleek and clean, allowing the cut of your pants to shine as well. The rubber outsole provides reliable grip on both pavement and the smooth floor of an office, and laces are included in the package. You can pair the black Y-3 sneakers with straight wool trousers and a long coat, but they also work well with loose dark jeans and an oversized hoodie for a more casual vibe. The name Y-3 tells the brand's story: “Y” refers to Yohji Yamamoto, while the three stands for adidas' three stripes. The result is fashion that exists at the intersection of sport and high fashion, focusing on minimalism, thoughtful proportions, and quality materials.

Futuristic aesthetics, precise craftsmanship and progressive design of premium sports fashion. That's exactly what Y-3 is. The legendary Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto is behind the brand. His minimalist approach and avant-garde vision merged with the sporting heritage of adidas in 2002. The "3" in the brand name represents the three stripes of adidas, the "Y" being the initial of Yoshi's name. The result is a unique blend of elegance and functionality, modern technology and traditional craftsmanship.
The hallmarks of Y-3 are timeless silhouettes, oversized cuts and a monochromatic colour palette dominated by black and white. Premium materials such as high-tech nylon, leather or Primeknit knitted fabrics ensure not only superior comfort but also durability. Every detail has been thought out down to the last stitch. Y-3 the perfect choice for those who want to combine streetwear with a luxurious aesthetic. Famous models such as Kaiwa, Qasa or Hokori are among the iconic silhouettes that perfectly reflect the brand's DNA.
Y-3's Japanese minimalist aesthetic has a large fan base. Some of the most famous are footballer David Beckham, singer Justin Bieber and model Bella Hadid. Collaborations with artists and athletes help the brand to continually evolve and allow it to deliver innovative collections that continually push the boundaries of modern style.
Y-3 became one of the first premium sneaker and apparel brands on Footshop. And believe me, you won't find this brand everywhere. Forget ordinary sportswear and join us on a timeless journey to find the perfect balance between sport and sophisticated fashion.
