Since its return, the silhouette has become a favorite target for collaborations with names like Joe Freshgoods, Aimé Leon Dore, Kith, and Concepts – the latter collaboration drew inspiration directly from the historic thousand-dollar bill from 1890, nicknamed “Grand Watermelon,” and from the story of a bank heist in Chicago.
