Lacoste Bombers & Varsities
Throw on the black bomber jacket Bombers & Varsities from Lacoste and give your everyday outfit a clean, sporty elegance. The rich black color keeps it understated, so you can pair it with almost anything. The subtle embroidery adds a detail that hints at its French origin. When you want to look polished but find a blazer too formal, this is your go-to.
The jacket is made from durable polyester, which retains its shape and withstands daily wear. Inside, it features a polyester lining, making it easy to layer over a sweater or hoodie. The classic collar and regular fit provide a balanced silhouette, ensuring nothing clings or hangs awkwardly. Elastic cuffs and the hem sit snugly around your wrists and waist, keeping the chill out. It zips up, and the snap-button side pockets are perfect for stashing your keys or phone without the worry of anything falling out. This men's bomber pairs well with jeans and sneakers for a city look, but it also complements chinos and a shirt effortlessly. Lacoste was founded in 1933 by tennis player René Lacoste. From a tennis shirt featuring the crocodile on the chest, it grew into a French fashion house that continues to blend sport with elegance.

When French tennis player René Lacoste was travelling with the Davis Cup team to Boston in the 1920s, he noticed a suitcase with a crocodile pattern. "If you win, I'll buy it for you," his coach told the future tennis number one and founder of a fashion empire. Neither of them knew at the time just how influential the young Lacoste would be on fashion and trends in the future.
After the end of his career, in 1933, Lacoste officially founded the eponymous brand, which he imprinted with his long-standing alligator nickname. The fashion world would probably never have been the same place if Lacoste hadn't come up with a new cut of T-shirts back then. A collar, a few buttons at the neck, short sleeves, and the so-called polo was born.
Tennis attire gradually became a trend that took polo shirts off the courts and onto the streets. Nowadays, Lacoste will dress you from top to bottom, at a good price and above all with quality. In our selection you will find T-shirts, trousers, sweatshirts or caps. So put together your crocodile outfit.
