But Mizuno didn't just make shoes from the start. This legend was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1906 when brothers Rihachi and Rizo founded Mizuno Brothers, which initially focused on baseball apparel. The older Rihachi brother was fascinated by the American sport and decided to use his new brand to promote it throughout Japan.
