Lightness, speed and comfort for every running day - Hoka® Clifton 9
The Hoka Clifton 9 is one of the lightest and most versatile road running shoes in the Hoka range. They offer soft and smooth cushioning that's ideal for everyday workouts, long runs and tempo lunges. With Meta-Rocker geometry, they'll help you keep a natural, smooth stride and reduce fatigue, so you'll feel light even at higher volumes.
The model uses an upgraded EVA midsole with more foam, which is even softer, more flexible and more responsive compared to the previous generation. Upper

Syntetika: The synthetic upper is made of synthetic materials that are lightweight, durable and easy to clean. It provides good protection against moisture and at the same time allows for a comfortable wearing experience.
Engineered mesh: Functional mesh is a popular material used in running shoe uppers. The tightly woven structure allows for better airflow and keeps your feet dry while running.
Midsole
EVA: most commonly used as a midsole material, because it has very good shock-absorbing effect, it also excels among other materials in its crack resistance and elegant smooth surface.
CMEVA (Compression molded EVA): CMEVA (Compression Molded Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) is a type of midsole material commonly used in sports footwear. This material is known for its excellent cushioning properties as it compresses and then returns to its original shape, providing constant support and comfort. CMEVA is lighter and offers better shock absorption compared to conventional EVA
MetaRocker: MetaRocker is a hallmark feature of HOKA footwear that is designed to enhance the natural gait cycle and provide a smooth running motion.This technology features a low heel-to-toe gap and a rounded sole shape that together promote a smooth rolling motion during the stride.
Sole
Rubber: The rubber outsole provides excellent grip and durability on a variety of surfaces. Thanks to its elasticity, it absorbs shock, increasing comfort when walking or running.

Radical change comes when you're trying to solve a very simple problem. The founders of the Hoka® brand know this.
