In the 1980s, basketball sneakers were coming out at the speed of mushrooms after rain. Nike introduced the Air Force 1, then the Air Jordan 1 came out for the first time, and even Adidas couldn't come up empty. Although it released the Superstars in 1969, which stunned the world, it couldn't rest on its laurels, releasing a whole line of basketball sneakers that included the adidas Rivalry High, which a few years later got a low version - the adidas Rivalry Low.
