Salomon XT-6
From a purely user perspective, the Salomon XT-6 is a sneaker made for long distance trail running, making even heavy surfaces look like smooth asphalt. This is thanks to the special Contagrip outsole with its cleverly designed tread, which hides the EnergyCell+ cushioning elements underneath. Materials
Upper
Textile: The textile upper of the sneakers is lightweight, breathable and comfortable, ideal for everyday wear and sports. It ensures air circulation, keeps feet fresh and adapts to their shape. Often complemented with synthetic or rubber details for durability and support.
Syntetika: The synthetic upper is made of synthetic materials that are lightweight, durable and easy to clean. It provides good protection against moisture and at the same time allows for a comfortable wearing experience.
Midsole
Polyurethane foam: (PU) is a high-performance midsole material known for its exceptional dimensional stability and durability. Unlike lighter foams, PU does not break down even after hundreds of kilometres and retains its cushioning properties. Thanks to its higher density, it provides excellent stability and support, which is crucial for heavier runners or hikers with a load. It's the ideal choice for durable outdoor and work footwear where foot protection and maximum resistance to mechanical wear is a priority.
Agile Chassis System (ACS): A stabilizing element in the midsole that provides a balance between protection and momentum. Increases torsional stability (prevents twisting of the foot) and optimises the smooth transition from heel to toe. Combined with shock-absorbing foam, it provides a confident stride on the ground and in the city.
Sole
Rubber: The rubber outsole provides excellent grip and durability on a variety of surfaces. Thanks to its elasticity, it absorbs shock, increasing comfort when walking or running.
Contagrip®: Salomon takes pride in making their sneakers as reliable as possible, no matter the weather or surface. Adaptability to any conditions is provided by the Contagrip Outsole, which is a sole that stands on a carefully balanced mix of density, compounds and geometry.
