Reebok Vector Track Top
You head out in the morning, the air is still fresh, and you want a layer to throw over your tee that you won’t have to think about all day. That’s exactly what the Reebok Vector Track Top is for. This retro track top in Olive Stone/Black combines a calm olive tone with contrasting black details, making it fit seamlessly into both sporty outfits and casual city looks. Wear it unzipped as a light layer, or zip it up to the neck for extra warmth when the temperature drops.
The jacket is made from polyamide, which withstands daily wear and maintains its shape. Inside, a smooth polyester lining makes it easy to slip on over a hoodie. The collar and zip closure give it a clean sporty line, and the regular fit sits naturally without restricting your movement. Elastic cuffs and a bottom hem keep the jacket in place, while the zippered front pockets are perfect for storing your phone, keys, or headphones without worry of them falling out. The embroidery adds a solid detail and references the Vector logo, after which it is named. Pair it with straight jeans, cargo pants, or joggers and some retro sneakers. Reebok has roots in Bolton, England, where the Foster family produced running shoes in the late 19th century, and the Vector logo has been one of its most recognizable symbols since the 90s.

Details
J.W. Foster, the founder of Reebok, created the first studded running shoe (the predecessor of today's trainers) in 1895. Reebok shoes did not begin to be produced under their current name until many decades later, in 1958. The company's name was given by two of Foster's grandsons who found the word in an old Afrikaans dictionary. Its meaning was the naming of a species of antelope, symbolizing the speed and grace that a man running in a Reebok represents.
Reebok footwear gained its fame especially in the 1980s when aerobics was experiencing a huge boom. Women's Reebok shoes went on a tear back then, which helped all the other industries that Reebok was involved in. In the mid-1980s, the originally English company greatly expanded its sphere of influence overseas, and Reebok sneakers began to become a global phenomenon.
Retro models and combat sports
Despite the public's initial scepticism, Reebok shoes now play a strong role in streetwearculture outside of sport . The idea of resurrecting several retro models has contributed to this. These include the Reebok Daytona, Instapump Fury or Reebok Aztrek sneakers, which perfectly captured the retro trend of recent years. Reebok is now a subsidiary of German giant adidas, among others, and its current policy is to support sporting events around the world. Some of the most famous ones include the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). It is therefore no surprise that Conor McGregor has become the main face of the new Reebok Zig Kinetica.
